the journey begin as I woke up 5 am that morning preparing myself for a thousand miles journey. Our flight is at 820am but we have to be there at 620am. Im the last person to arrive. The truth part of me had this feeling of not wanting to go. But I believe there always something to achieve which im not sure what.

We arrive in guangzhou 3 and half hours later. We have to wait for our connecting flight to xian at 7pm. The time spend at the aiport could have been used for something benficial but since our tentatives are still not clear, thus not much of preparation had been done but to wait and see.

I got a knocked at my hotel bedroom door at 730am sharp. It was sis mariah. I can say that she is a very enthusiastict person. our journey continue after having a chinese breakfast. Porridge and pickles, buns and soya.

We took train to xian and then a coaster to the village called zhangjiachuan. Chian is clean without rubbish but its actually dirty with human urine. I could see the spots the train walkway and the smells fills the air.

We take a walk that afternoon to the zhangjiachuan charity organisation ‘s office. As we walk along the street, people are lookings at us as they never seen asians like us. I don’t blame them as they live in a remote area.

The people in the village are different from those in the cities. Peaceful face are walking on the street. With no expensive cars on the road, no fast food, no shopping malls, but they seems to be no worries on their faces.

Their jobs mainly are farming. There are three tyres tractors. And three tyres cabs running around on the streets.

today is our first day of mission and we are still not clear with our tentatives. i went to the hospital still wondering whats going to happen next and to my surprised we were greeted by the whole hospital administration and doctors. we had a few discussion then we were taken to see the ward. We got the chance to have a bedsite teaching in a china hospital. How good that would be…. I wouldn’t not understand a single word but the examination are just the same.

we had fun that morning with the kids during the dental project. We teach them about dental hygiene, we sing with them and brush with them. Later after lunch, we were taken to the village’s hospital and areas affected by the earthquake.

I was amaze by the natural landscape of china. The people plant wheat at mountain and they live far the cities.

During the visits, I learn one important lesson. Toilet is the basic neccessities for human. A good one. The toliet at this area, is only one hole, made of concrite, with no waters and tissue paper. It is just a room and a hole for people to ansewrs their nature call. Sometimes I feel like I would rather urinate outside the toilet rather than inside. Most of us, reduce the water intake so that we wouldn’t have to go to the toilet. Although our doctor, Dr alvin keep reminding us to take plenty of water.

Today is my birthday, and all of us end It up with having vomitting and dirreahoe.

me and my roomate was unwell and decided not to go for breakfast. I was waiting for anybody to call as all of us are used to having breakfast together and will call those who is missing from the breakfast table. But that morning, no phone call. At about 8 only that I found out, everyone fall sick. So we decided to go back to xian straight away and cancel our stay here. ( we have completed part of our mission)

we have a tour at xian and guangzhou. After having spend three days at china, only in xian that I felt the bond with this people in china. It happen when were going to perform our zuhr prayer at the muslim bazaar. The sisters that showed us our needs even before we even said it. they assist us to go the toilet and taking ablution.example, in china, the toilet is not provided with water, and rarely they put toliet paper. then in this muslim area, the system is a bit different, u pee and wash at different place. u isng the old skill, where i bring bottle with water into the toilet, i have readily wash. then when i came out to take ablution, one of the sister was waiting for me and asked me to go to the washing room. n the room's was only half like the cowboy type.. waa so i just act like im washing, by just opening the tab and squant a bit..haha. The try to explain to us how to pray there.

On the last day, we went to electronic market where they sells phone, mp3, camera and other electronic stuff. I was amazed with the ability of chian to immitate all the top brand.

Our flight that afternoon was on time, but delayed by 4 hours when we have to take emergency landing at shenzen due to bad weather. We reach k.lumpur at 2.30 am.

have to rest for my next flight to jogjakarta at 2pm
